New England Quahog Festival

12PM – Sea Creature Parade through Wickford

1230PM-7PM – New England Quahog Festival
at the North Kingstown Town Beach

The day will begin with a Sea Creature parade through downtown Wickford with children + adults dressed as mermaids, pirates, colorful fish, sharks, octopi, jellyfish and other marine life, led by the Extraordinary Rendition Band, Shriners cars and clowns, local dignitaries and more. This is an art parade and everyone is invited to join in.

The parade will end at the beach where
our 2017 Queen of the Sea and her Royal Court will officially welcome everyone to the festival and crown the 2018 Royal Court
for next year’s festival.

At the beach there will be live music + entertainment all day, great food trucks + vendors, a beer garden hosted by Whaler’s Brewing, face painting, games, a touch tank, Newport Jack the pirate and so much more.

Did we mention – it’s at the beach + it’s FREE!

The second annual festival is sponsored by, and is being produced by RI community members with all proceeds donated to the Town of North Kingstown, earmarked to make improvements at the beach.

Join us for a fun day at the beach
and celebrate summer in Rhode Island!
