Smith’s Castle invites you to our ninth annual “What’s it Worth, Wickford” antiques appraisal day at Smith’s Castle, November 4th, 2016, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The fee for appraisals is $15.00 per item, $10.00 for each additional item. Smith’s Castle members get one item free. Reservations are strongly recommended along with a list of items to be appraised so as to assure a comprehensive appraisal.

Whether you have a handmade quilt that belonged to your great grandmother, an old wooden trunk in the basement, a treasured dinner service, an old toy you played with as a child, or a rocking chair that belonged to your great aunt, come to the Antiques Appraisal Day and discover the value of your family heirlooms with appraiser Daniel Buck Soules.

Mr. Soules, who has been an auctioneer and appraiser for more than 30 years, conducts charity events throughout the U.S. He has also appeared since 1999 as an on air appraiser in decorative arts, silver and collectables on the PBS television program “Antiques Roadshow.” Mr.Soules, formerly of North Kingstown, specializes in 18th, 19th and early 20th century furniture, paintings, Shaker and silver items.

The Castle is located at 55 Richard Smith Dr., North Kingstown, RI, just off Rt. 1, about 1 mile north of Wickford Village and directly across from the State Police Barracks.
