St. Paul’s Church

The history of St. Paul’s Church in Wickford goes back to the early days of Colonial Rhode Island. The St. Paul’s congregation was formed in 1706 by the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in Foreign Parts (SPG), the missionary arm of the Anglican Church based in London.
